Chamber Operators carry out the vital tasks associated with the operation and safe use of recompression chambers. They must be able to operate the chamber for treatments or for surface decompression.
Course Objectives
The objectives of the course are to provide a theoretical and operational understanding of the physics and physiology of diving, to familiarize entrants with the current legislation and to provide a working knowledge of plant and equipment, gas systems, documentation and record keeping. The course is designed to provide practical experience of the correct operation of air chambers.
