Question 1

What does a Client Worksite Representative actually do day-to-day?

Accepted Answer

A Client Worksite Representative monitors safety compliance, verifies that procedures are followed correctly, checks contractual deliverables and reports progress to the client — acting as an independent set of eyes on the worksite throughout the project.

Question 2

Do I need diving experience to become a Client Worksite Representative?

Accepted Answer

Not necessarily diving specifically — but you should have relevant offshore experience in a supervisory or management role within marine, diving, ROV, survey/inspection or underwater engineering disciplines.

Accepted Answer

CWRs are engaged across offshore oil & gas, subsea construction, renewables (offshore wind) and marine civil engineering projects — anywhere a client needs independent on-site assurance during contracted operations.
